Why we built Casana

A place you share with the people you love should feel easy. In practice, it often turns into a low hum of small questions. Is that weekend still free? Is there wifi? Did the last people lock up?

We felt all of that with my grandparents’ holiday home. Picking a weekend meant a phone call, and sometimes the house was already taken. Packing meant scrolling old family chats to find out what was there. Leaving meant a nagging worry about whether we had closed everything.

There are plenty of platforms for renting a place out to strangers. That was the opposite of what we wanted. We just wanted to share our place with family, without it becoming a management project.

So we built Casana: one calm spot for the calendar, the info, and the small things that are easy to forget. Not a tool for landlords, not a rental site. Just a simpler way to share a place with the people who matter.
