Stay statuses explained

Every stay has a status, so everyone sees what is set and what is still open. The diagram shows how a stay moves between them.

Pending

Waiting for an admin to approve. The stay shows in the calendar, and the owner and co-owners get a notification. Approve confirms it, Decline turns it down.

Confirmed

A stay that is set.

Declined

An admin turned the request down. The stay stays marked as declined and is not scheduled.

Cancelled

A stay that was called off. It stays visible to you and your co-owners, so you keep the full picture, and guests no longer see it.

Tentative

“Tentative” is not a status of its own, it is a “not final yet” marker. A tentative stay is shown with a dashed outline and can be made firm later. Handy when a date is likely but not decided.
