Turning on notifications

Casana can message you when something changes, so you do not have to open the app to check. They come on once you allow them.

The screenshots show the German app for now. English screenshots are on the way.

Turn on notifications

Open the Notifications tab and tap Enable notifications. In the dialog, tap Enable.

If they are blocked

If notifications are off at the device level, the dialog shows Open settings instead.

Open Casana’s Notifications there and turn Allow notifications on.

Every notification you can get

Some notifications are about the whole place and go to all its members. Others are about a single stay and go only to its participants, the people who are on that stay.

About the place

Setting up a place

These reminders come at most twice per place: the day after you create it at 6 pm and the following Sunday at 10 am, in your local time. Once the step is done, no more reminders.

Invite link

Tapping “expired” opens the member list, where you create a new link. When the place is full, the place shows how to make room.
